Holiday in Sihanouk Ville Again

It's so excited just to think of it. I love seafood, the beaches and most of all the sea. I can't get enough from the sea. I don't need to spend my holiday abroad even though I'm financially capable of doing so. All I need is lying on the bench watching the big blue sea and people walking by with their bikinis. We'll choose Sokha Beach to stay which is considered luxurious for all of all. I love the breakfast there. I can't wait. Our plan is to go there in September.

Within an inch of danger

At about 8 am, my grandma came visit. She told me about my day horoscope was not favorable; the year of yours was to be careful while driving she said. I didn't believe it much, so I gave her a big grin. I drove as usual but made sure I was careful enough. At about 4 pm I went out for shopping. As I turned a corner to the right as slower as possible, a motorbike suddenly happened to turn left into my way in front of my car. It was okay if I remained my position and my speed, but I didn't. I thought I wanted to be more cautious, so I applied the brake. Normally I put my foot straight to the brake, so what I did was just to step on it. But not this time. I didn't know why my foot was direct to the accelerator. As I stepped on it, I know you can guess what happened. It was so quick. I almost hit the man and his motorbike, but I was quick and calm enough to put things under control. I cut to the right in an incredible speed that we both could avoid the incident just by inches. I saw him turn pale and so did I. I hit myself hard on my forehead. What the hell was that?? I must be more cautious; a car accident involves something horrible I don't want to imagine.

What a person he turns out to be!

This little cute student of my Japanese class is calm, easy-going and well-behaved. He wears simple clothes and drives a simple SUZUKI motorbike. Who on earth would ever notice he's a son whose parents own hundred acres of rubbers, and whose uncle has thousands hectares of rubbers. My goodness! My admiration and respect to his parents.

I wrote the lyrics myself.

Just like this picture taken in Sihanouk Ville where we had our short holiday before Khmer New Year.

This is the famous Yaknaloum Lake, Rattanakiri, my first time during the new year time. It is said that the water is as transparent as glass and it is exactly right. I love this lake, so full of nature. However, I suggest don't make any trip to Rattanakiri in new year time because the accommodation price is higher as twice and the whole city, the whole province, is too quiet. Kampong Cham province is much lively during new year. No place like home. :D

My new blog

Having read Ian's blog and advice, I decided to write short stories again. I am trying to finish my last one. Here's the link: http://juzanotherchallenge.blogspot.com/

Black Pepper Field

A week ago we went to visit black pepper field. It belongs to our cousin about 73 kilometres from Kampong Cham city. It was amazing! Pepper rows were straight, natural blue and beautiful. They take care of them pretty well. It was havest season; pepper pickers were picking the peppers for our cousin. Fantastic!

Here are pine apples planted in between the rows of the peppers.

This is rambutan tree; it was my first time to have seen it. So amazing! It's rippen by the end of April, so I'm gonna go again to have a mouthful of them. So healthy, tasty and no chemical of course!

Here are the pepper rows. My cousin is a hard working man and a best farmer I've ever known. If you want to visit his field, just contact me I can manage it for you.

What a relaxing day!
I love NATURE!

One of lifetime favorite poems

When you're truly and deeply in love with someone, you might like it:

How do I love thee?
by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Things make me happy

  • Making money
  • Traveling
  • Spa
  • Reading favorite novels
  • Watching favorite movies
  • Family gatherings
  • Learning something new
  • Doing exercise
  • Spending holiday at the sea

What makes you happy?

A family trip

We're busy, but hope to visit Koh Kong before Khmer New Year. We don't travel during the new year time because it's rather expensive and dangerous. So, we'll gonna stay at home playing cards with family gatherings watching young people playing new year games.

S-E4

The representative of the flood victims declaimed in a terror voice, “We are dying and we need help. We need it fast,” to beseech the government and other organizations to rescue them from the flood land and give them safe shelters. To their consternation, there was no response from any organization and their hope was hermetic. The top government was worried and dispatched a rescue party equipped with helicopters to deliver them out to safer places. But, there was something wrong somewhere along the line because the relief budget was illegally peculated. The people, who embezzled the money from the project, must have been the most nocuous of all. Even the hidebound wife of the major wanted to help those victims, needless to say the openhanded ones. Both local and international news tautologically kept calling for the government to reconsider their implementation process, and urged for an effective action to takes the corrupt politicians and officers to court.

S-E3

He grew into rancor when he knew that the gold he had bought in was all pinchbecks. That he trusted the unknown dealer, his careless myopia, was defeating him. As many days and nights quietly went by, the man looked more and more wan and sallow due to his narcolepsy. His friends asked him to have talisman made as to protect himself from all kinds of dark enemies and power. The man burnished his talisman often and that made him look like an idiot. Then again, his friends asked him to pandiculate his health first and set to refurbish the shop to look more attractive. They were kind of hopeless until one day he showed up at his shop and started expurgating all unnecessary words from his shop’s advertisement slang. However, his expurgation seemed so interminable that all the friends had a second thought. He still had fit!

Just a drive for relaxing

If you've been to this place before, I'm sure you can guess it right.
Action 1: I asked him to take a photo for me and he did when my sister came interrupted in the middle of it. She sneaked from the other side of the car.

Action 2: then I asked him to do it again for me, but this time she was gutsy enough to come and stayed much closer.

Action 3: I gave up and asked her to join in. Well, everyone seemed happy now.

S-E2

He was badly abused when he was in jail and as a result he was badly wounded. The doctor recommended him visit an osteopath as to be under the special treatment in order to cure his body-disoriented from inside. Every time he visited the osteopath he bemoaned like a froward animal. Daniel, who used to be an unconscionable, highhanded person and had treated other people with wanton violation, never toadied in front of nobody. Yet during his medical treatment at osteopath, he was vacuous and never happened to denigrate the osteopath like he ever did before. Many people whom had known him acclaimed for his surprised attitude.

S-E1

She knows she has just spent her gargantuan treasure for a slave considered to be worthless for most high ranking peoples like her. She releases him from the prison, and gives him freedom and victuals with candor. He is a fastidious person, nevertheless, thinking himself as an unwitting chaff of her deed, which daunting him by providing him no chances to return her his best service as a sign of gratitude. She thinks different. Before completely releasing him, she called her various erstwhile professors and asks them for precious advice. Her thought was eclectic and thought the man deserves his freedom.

My lifetime favorite president

Bill Clinton appeared to my knowledge in my high school time. I happened to like him a lot and even had his picture, I found in old English magazine, on my favorite book's cover. I wished I could meet him one day. When I heard that he was in Siem Reap, Cambodia, doing his campaign in reducing AIDS victims, I wished I were there only to shake his hand and get his autography. Now I'm reading his book, "My Life", getting to know more about his childhood, his thinkings, his politics, his work and his elections. No matter how people talk about his scandals, I still like him the most. Abe and Clinton are still my favorite.

My very first book

The book is originally written by Miyazawa Kenji, one of the best representing Japanese authors. I had worked more than one month in order to finish the translation and the publishing. It can be found in libraries in Phnom Penh. It's not outstanding but I take it as a string that leads me to a career of literature.
The story about a boy who lost himself in a demension he had never known, yet he enjoyed the journey to the world which life after death might lead us to Holy God.
Thank God for giving me the chance.
